Through initiatives like the Short Street Kitchen and Harvest Hub, our team works together to build a stronger, more sustainable food community in the Piedmont Triad.

Project Short Street's mission is to strengthen the local food system by empowering small food entrepreneurs and agricultural producers by providing a nurturing ecosystem that fosters growth, innovation, and community development.

Provide comprehensive access to state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, tools, and resources to aspiring members of the community, regardless of their background or level of experience.

Deliver critical insights to operational efficiencies, business development, finance, market trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to keep our community at the forefront of the food sector.

Guidance

Offer expert guidance through mentorship programs, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to help entrepreneurs and producers navigate the complexities of the food industry.

Through strategic outreach, social media campaigns, partnerships with local organizations, and participation in community events, we work tirelessly to showcase the innovative products, successes, and milestones of our farmers, producers, and entrepreneurs. ​

At Project Short Street, our educational programming is designed to be hands-on, innovative, and deeply connected to real-world experiences. Our members gain practical knowledge by working in real-time with seasoned professionals, developing products in state-of-the-art facilities, and participating in live business scenarios such as catering events, food truck operations, and market sales.
